I have always loved Event Horizon.. Always a top 5 scifi movie for me..

Ship has state of the art, black hole creating, time folding, speed travel..
Gets lost on maiden voyage after opening up a hole in space.
Disappears for years.
Reemerges around Neptune..
Expedition ship sent to investigate
Crew finds out ship... went places...

A must watch for sure.

Sounds kinda kool. Suprised to hear Paul WS Anderson could make a good movie [You must be logged in to view images. Log in or Register.] I'll DL it!

A fun director; check out Frank Henenlotter, his Frankenhooker is a classic

1. Indiana Jones (I and III, although II is solid)
2. Jaws (I cannot believe nobody has said this... I firmly believe the drinking scene is the best scene in movie history)
3. Back to the Future
4. Dumb and Dumber
5. The Terminator (so much happens in one day!)
6. Silence of the Lambs
7. Bloodsport
8. Animal House
9. Empire Strikes Back (still remember as a kid being flabbergasted about "You are the father!", amazing plot twist.)
10. Some of the old Bond movies (Connery/Moore of course)

Seriously, nobody else with Jaws on their list. Really?

I love Wesley snipes in demolition man. That’s a classic. I might get Taco Bell tonight and watch it

I think that’s exactly the appeal for me. I have a particularly strong aversion to the S&M theme, which is exactly the whole vibe is so... horrifying. It’s just great psychological horror.

I haven’t seen the sequels though. Sequels make me think cash grab and I usually avoid. You should watch and report back!
