Nope not at all. They take ~100 hours to make, sometimes more. And that's just labor not material costs.

More realistic style and detailed would run 6-8k. Only a few makers do ones like that though. I've been thinking about getting a silver furred Nexii but I'm unsure if I want one like that. It would be pretty awesome, but sometimes they're sort of in the uncanny valley. A lot more than cartoon style which rarely gives me that sense. Plus there's the fact that I'd need to save up the money.
