We are moral people. It isn't like we have weekend gatherings where we eat babies and don't floss. Seriously though, we get a ton of IP exemption requests. I'm pretty sure you all have guessed there is a process. That process is pretty labor intensive. I know everyone would like to have a quick turn around on these, but to put it bluntly, too many people have abused exemptions in the past for us to just hand them out. Make sure when you ask for an exemption you read the sticky and get all of the information we need in there, don't bump your posts, for God's sake be patient, and don't accuse us of drowning puppies or anything like that.

It's morally wrong not to buy your friend a hotspot so he can have his own IP if playing EQ with him means so much. It's also morally wrong not to play other classic multiplayer games with him while you wait for your IP exemption. Morally, you could be doing better for your friend than shaming strangers for handouts.

Why do people do this? Get a VPN, go play with friends, if your going to box, the server pretty much police's itself. you'll most likely get caught. These GM's are donating time, why would you even wait for an exemption when you could be playing with all your box pals in 15 minutes?
