My dislike of Tomlin comes from being a Steelers fan and watching way too many mistakes with clock management or being unprepared. I won't go through all of them this season but let's take last week for example against the Patriots.

First and goal no timeouts. You "score" on first down and there is a 5 minute review. Anyone watching that knows the rules knew that play was coming back. You had 5 full minutes to be ready for second, third, and possibly 4th down. I would have been fine going for it on 4th down to try to win the game rather than playing for overtime where you probably would have lost anyway.

What is inexcusable is he didn't even have a 3rd down play ready to go after a 5 minute free timeout. Instead they get tackled in bounds on second down and go with a fake spike against the best coached team in the league with 1 guy in the pattern and multiple defenders. Interception and game over. You absolutely have to have a 3rd down play ready assuming you get tackled in bounds and they didn't. He makes these types of mistakes all the time. Again, great motivator and a players coach but they need to move on.

lol PETE CARROL yikes. missed that one. He let's his players run wild and runs the same schemes as my Pop Warner team did in the 90s. he is an alright motivator but he is another bozo. what do all of these coaches have in common? They all shit their pants eventually. The Seahawks made it till the last play of the game, the steelers make it 3 quarters. The Falcons make it a half. But they all shit their pants when facing the Patriots. All ya gotta do is not fuck up and you win these games.

can you imagine Bill Belichik letting the clock run out because he doesn't know how many timeouts he has or can't keep track of the game clock? Or throwing the ball on the 1 yard line? Or doing whatever the fuck the steelers did at the end of the game last week. No, ya can't. Because he cuts out the cancer like Guerrero and every other team keeps him around.

im not even a huge Belichik or Patriots fan, just the rest of the league blows

Pete Carroll was saved by Russell Wilson. He was on the way out in Seattle before Russell saved his job. With their aging Diva-fence and Russ having to carry the offence, I'd say his days are numbered.

Maybe he can join Chip at UCLA as a motivational guru.

Niners got a early Christmas present from Bill. Looking forward to that Niners and Rams rivalry for next few seasons.

Nah you missed understood what I wrote, I was pointing out Pete Carroll makes big game mistakes and so I would not put him in the top of NFL coaches.

Also, I have to rebuke my point of Garrett being a great coach who rarely makes big game mistakes. He just had Dak Prescott throw passes while on 2nd and goal ffs.

Elliott is back from his 6 week vacation, and they are on 2nd and goal against the Seahawks and they don't run Zeke??? My god. Dallas deserves to lose this game and honestly I won't be surprised if Jerry Jones kicks Jason Garrett off the team this year.

It's almost as if he wanted Dak to win this game against the Seahawks with his arm, when he has been throwing shitty the entire game! Actually, the entire YEAR Dak has been off, no idea how the hell you got a receiver like Dez Bryant and you can't complete long yard passes... smfh.

As for Tomlin, ya'll full of crap. He's a great coach and 90% of the teams would die to have him head coach for them. Stop riding the coattails of Barlu, Fandy you probably never even watched a Steelers game to comment with such assertiveness.

To be fair , Dez was being Dez today. He was crying that he wasn't getting the ball and then fumbles it when he finally does get it. That cost them a TD and he checked out after that.

I agree about Zeke, he's their bell cow and gets better the more he carries the ball. He had 6 weeks rest and they NEEDED to win this one to stay alive. Bad coaching.

Seattle will be one and done anyway if they do make the playoffs.
