Oh I can totally see that side of the coin too. I've been in that position though, and the only real way to progress was to go through the hardcore system. That's how many folks are going to finally get a slice of the endgame, wipe or not.

Lol i never advocated a server wipe to 'even out the server', much less because i'm missing any 'phat lewtz'.

I'm just acknowledging the fact that the only real fun had in this game is the original mad levelling scamper when no one has anything.

51-60 + Kunark is still fun, too, don't get me wrong.

After all the work and long hours lvling to 32, i would never play on this server again if they chose to hit the reset button on me and make me start from scratch again. my fury would be monstrous thus i would simply quit and wait for star wars the old republic. hehe

I never really made the distinction that Kunark and Velious weren't "classic". It wasn't until after Luclin that I thought of it in those terms.

I don't understand the sentiment of being late to the server means you don't get to experience the end-game. Level up to 46+ --> show your skills in EXP groups--> meet people --> apply to the top guild --> gain access to the end-game content you're after. Profit.

The top guilds on this server are not some static group with zero turnover. You can app them and you can join them. In my opinion any competent person willing to put in the time and effort can get to this content that you feel is monopolized.

I've been playing casually on this server coming up on a year now, and I have seen several people who just a few months ago were asking for buffs in the EC tunnel so they could kill snakes and are now walking around with CT loot. As much as it might seem, the raid scene is not that exclusive.
