Will you be playing Rift?

I've played in some of the betas, got a mage up to level 34. I'm kinda digging it. It certainly feels a lot like WoW, but I don't think it's really accurate to say it's a WoW clone.

The class system is everything. You actually need to use thought to optimize your build, as opposed to WoW where you just close your eyes and fill up a talent tree and call it a day.

A note as of today that I found out. Cross Server LFG dungeon tool is coming to Rifts. There slogan "Your Not In Azeroth anymore" is turning out to be more and more of a lie. There gonna need cross server LFG when the game goes on life support and if it doesent we know what past game community will mainly flocking to Rift. Pretty soon youll be able to sit in a town and lvl up without ever having to leave. Pretty cool huh.

I'm actually really looking forward to checking out the open beta tomorrow. I haven't looked forward to playing a new mmo in quite awhile so I hope I'm not getting my hopes up for nothing. To those of you who plan on playing, are you going to play on a pvp or pve server?

At least they're taking the time to polish their game before release, have to give them credit for that in the mess that has been massive releases over the last few years. For the people looking for a WoW alternative this should be pretty exciting.

I am going to do that starting today to kill time until the 25th. However, I am pissed at Sony for sending me the invite 2 days a head of time and now having to roll a new toon on that server since the others will be dead. I think it is also bull shit that we won't be able to play any of the added races or classes in the expansion until they get unlocked. No Iskar Beastlord for Yak. Fucking game is badass. Currently a rift/reaver/beastmaster

Seems like a pretty good combo. Love that every class can choose a pet archetype
