Nobody in DAP has ever asked me how much I'm going to tip or demanded payment. Always been good service. Prob 100+ ports so far from them.

If somebody countered my polite question about a port with How much u payin? i would just put them on ignore and ask someone else...

(i usually tip 40-60pp+ depending on location)

When I first played on p99th there was no DaP. After returning I have had nothing but great experience from them and a couple are on my friends list from being so awesome. I've yet to have something but an awesome experience. I say keep it up.

I have nothing bad whatsoever to say about dial a port. They have been very helpful to me even as a noob with little to no plats, declining what meager tips i offered them. A wizard even came and rescued my baby barb shaman after she got dragged to kunark and stranded there with nothing but one plat and an iksar targ shield to her name.

Another time, a friendly Dial a port wizard came and helped safely escort a level 4 erudite i was helping with a CR in the gorge get safely to freeport free of charge. Now that i am in mid levels, i am tipping appropriate to my level and funds (or trying to) and consider ports a luxury and a convenience. Yes, they are expensive, but my time is valuable and so is the person's who is porting me.

I usually travel by foot and use boats and only request ports when its important that i get to a location quickly. I think if more ppl used common sense and didnt feel entitled to free ports anytime they please, just b/c because they are noobs, alts or otherwise, there would be less issue. I for one would be very bummed as a melee if DAP did not exist or went on strike. Please do not do that. And i do plan on tipping more, as i acquiremore plats in gratitide for the help that was freely given to me when i had little to no plats.

Agenda driven threads? Have yet to see a competitor show up.
Will continue to use DaP, also remember Tupakk helping random folks getting Seb keyed a while back.
