What class should I play? I like melee, but don't mind support and don't really like soloing. Not really care for pure casters

Soloing isnt really a thing in ffxi beyond the early levels. Once you're like 14-15 you're going to be partying if you want xp (with a couple exceptions)

Tank melee or DD melee?

Either fine, but prolly more DD. I like monk/ranger most in EQ if that helps ^^

your not wrong except about the unwoke saturation, but your really wrong if u don't think horde were sissified in wc3 so they look good to multicult peons. They weren't evil like dahmer they were 'evil' like adolf. U get what I'm saying right?

This is the problem w/ sharing a language with plebs, u start using pleb vocabulary and it confuses conversations among the woke.

Neway is there an enchanter-like class in ffxi? I want to play the crazy gimmick job, or a mega healer.

Ranger is closer to the EQ version than monk is. That's a job you have to unlock though once you get another job to 30+

You'd need to level ninja (another unlockable class) to use as a subjob if you wanted to dual wield with it, but thf or warrior are also good ranger subs. They pump out a LOT of damage, and are pretty sought after for parties, too

I think the closest to enchanter would be bard. theyve got CC songs and stuff
