I'v been using Samsung galaxy's from s4 to s7 and I just love the flexibility.
What drove me off from Iphones was the apple mentality

Apple will tell you what you need
Apple will tell you what you can and cannot do
Apple will tell you how you will use it
Apple will tell you how much you will pay for it

and yes, having the option to plug in a 1/8 jack for earphones when your headphone battery is dead is something I like to have

Yeah, I agree with all of this. That does not make Samsung a legit alternative. Samsung is built off theft and marketing.

Still, this move by Apple even deeper into talmudic philosophy (i thought it impossible) is pretty gamechanging for me. This is what happens when a closed ecosystem gets too strong -- removal of basic features to drive the sale of other products (beats by dre). Facebook syndrome.

Bluetooth headsets are pretty sweet don't get me wrong, but requiring a separate music playing device or a very expensive bluetooth headset to play music at decent quality from your iPhone? I don't know about you, but I consider headphones a consumable item and I'm just not willing to sink 2 month's supply of Alex Jones Collapse Survival Food Kit into a pair that will be leaving the house with me and getting beat to shit. Not to mention carrying that much flashy shit on you makes you a mark ass n*gga if u arent rolling 3 or 4 deep 24/7.
