You're not making a relevant point.

Everything about the game being known and on a wiki, as opposed to how the game was played in actual classic, doesn't defend the current state of p99. This is not a good thing. This is not how the game was meant to be played.

Here is what everyone needs to realize: if Everquest over the past 17 years had remained in a "classic" state, with the developers working to improve that core game instead of simply farting out expansions, it would NOT be the game that it is here on p99. The game was never supposed to be static. You seem to be taking pride in exploiting a defunct system, acting like anyone should be impressed or amused by it.

obvious solution to blue and red is to always have a server going through expansions. At the end of velious, characters are moved to the old persistent server, and new servers are launched.

Its not rocket science, but it does take someone to care enuff to do it
