This is true old comrade, but its important to understand that I got where I was by having fun not planning on rmting or even building up to it. So I was just simply there and ready to quit so figured why the hell not. fungus is very common drop as well I averaged one per 3 hours at the camp. There were 2 instances where I got a 2 fungi back to back within 1 hour. So roughly 150 onions an hour I was getting.

there are tons of hot spots, where u see the same ole farmers at, that don't ever build out any new characters out and only guild the guild that controls that particular zone in order to farm it.

Yeah, i mainly put the Lodi farmers (salaryman, etc) and old ragefire farmers like Tamtam etc in the RMT column

man i just read this forum, lotta people thinking there isnt huge rmt rackets that are putting thousands of dollars in peoples pockets a week are retarded, the fungi camp in particular.

That camp alone shared by 3 people camped regularly, logging in every 28 minutes you can score 3 fungis a day easy, and on good days you can get 5-6 sometimes even more, thats depending on the market 150-300 each per day for logging in once every 28 minutes and playing for 2 minutes. thats not so bad when your at another job that allows you do that. it's also not so bad if you life with you're parents and have no bills. it beats working mcdonnalds.

now thats just the fungi camp. with velious out a ton of new RMT farm spots are opened up.

Me and my brother farm for our plat so we know all the other farmers, very few farmers are actually farming items for plat to gear other characters, its very clear which ones are farming for RMT and not. and also, on the flip side since the people who farm the hot spots all know eachother. we in turn also know when someone like sektors comes outa nowhere spending 750k that we know he purchased that plat since he isn't part of the farm clique.

im not just singling out sektors, you can tell it just by looking at certain people like rogues that have no other character on the server and they are BIS droppables. etc and stuff like that. so clearly rmt'd everything.

like i have said many times there are two types of people who play here, the people who dont have time to grind items, and the people who do.

3 fungis per day easy, you say? Lets say you only grind weekdays, thats still 60 a month ? With a if you assume a Server Population volatility of double its size in its better days of 300. You would have oversaturated that market in lets then 2 month.

Let alone driven down the prize for a tunic.

Salaryman, Tamtam they were really hogging those spots. But then again, if it is valuable rmt wise, its also valuable in-game wise. So if Bergurgle MQ is good bang for the buck in plats too.

Always wondered if red99 was secretly split into sell-side, buy-side and casuals.

If nothing Comes to light my assesment is the following: its just occasional, opportunistic activity. Where there are buyers, there will be sellers. Sektors is classic example.
