Well we didn't get to the bridge but we did eventually get down to the castle.

The haters in the Twitch chat were numerous (like a live stream RNF), and we got intentionally trained again after Sirken left as an attempt to lawyer a "they died, the camp/zone is ours now"... but we persisted, and actually - once the mads went away, we went on to have a really good time...and I streamed it for over 5 hours which was good fun [You must be logged in to view images. Thanks to everyone who came along, that was a pure nostalgia trip for me... I hadn't grouped in Chardok since mid-2013 with an old enchanter pal while on my cleric. The best part was we had 2 people who saw this thread on the forums who hadn't logged in for a couple of years and they wanted to come along...so welcome back you both <3

To the Chardok AOE guys - please learn to share the zone. It's good for regular XP as well as your plat farm AOE stuff.

Thanks again,

Swish (Kippers)

Also a fun fact. Awakened came along about 3 hours in and wanted to pull the Royals to the zone out... guess what? We moved out of the way and let them do their thing.

Sharing is caring.

I would empathize with people more about chardok aoe if i felt like people actually wanted to xp there. Everyone knows good and well they can xp there if they want and the staff supports the xp'ers. But I have seen a grand total of 2 (including swish's group) groups start xp groups there.

It will be revamped and become impossible soon anyway.

I don't see anyone complaining about Bard/Druid PL'ing so I'm not sure what the big deal is with chardok aoe.

Regardless, glad the bridge group had fun today and wish i could have brought a character to try it out myself.

Chardok AE is a scourge that has done nothing but flood the server with incompetent level 60 characters, and is the realm of people who hate EQ and despise the standard levelling process.

However, to allege that today's group was a Bridge XP group is laughable. There was 0% chance that events would have unfolded any differently, and everyone involved knew it.
It was a day of rustled jimmies and needless petitionquest, when a legitimate xp group could have done very well for themselves in the halls below bridge, out of the way of regular AE activities.

Congratulations on unnecessarily disrupting one of the very few bonus xp weekends on the calendar.

To be fair, our group was killed 3 times by trains before we even made it to the fort. Diplomacy might have been an option, but the 2nd and 3rd train took that off the table. There is no justification for any group in any zone being subject to that. The server rules apply in Chardok as well. Thank you Sirken for backing us. We really did have a great time exping once the zone got quieter.

Common sense would dictate that one does not try to set up a group in known volatile positions. but whatever, you were in it for the laughs, and that's exactly what you got, so you win i guess.

I stand by my earlier remarks.
I would love to see the petition outcome if you insisted on your right to a peaceful group along the path of an FTE footrace.
