That is a different kind of question because both 'good' and 'well' are subjective and something done 'well' is not necessarily 'good'. For example, the 9/11 terror attacks were well executed, but were they good? That depends on who you ask.

Depends on what part of the government or whom you are talking about and whether there is active congressional oversight or not. Surely you don't lack that much historical knowledge on how your own government operates. Just gimme gimme gimme, eh? hehe

Lol. I am not sure I understand to be honest ^^ To me they seem a bit stale, inactive. Perhaps the most damaging contributor to that state is that the in-flow of new FQ'ers has been unable to keep pace with the out-flow of veteran posters. In addition to that, the content has been exhausted and there is very little room for speculative discussion about future content since we have almost reached the end of the line. There is of course the DBG agreement and associated changes in moderation too, which has resulted in the loss of some of our most colorful posters.

At the end of the day p1999 started with a very small target audience and once its thirst has been quenched the project dies. I choose to believe we are just in a lull at the moment though ^^

er It's not a conspiracy that the gov has controlled the weather, that's a fact. That's documented fact (I linked to from a congressional oversight committee document) that they have done it. The only question is if they still do and to what degree. And it's not even really a question, just a matter of how to get them to disclose it, or how to stop them more importantly. Information is key in this, that's all I've provided, to those that decide to look into it in time.

And topic hasn't changed, been about GeoEngineering since original post, primarily regarding weather modification. I don't think the gov needs to spray chemicals on the population to make them any more dumb than they already are, not when they can already use things like reality shows and FB to accomplish that.

Alvin Toffler described this in Future Shock. A point where we have too much information to sift through to make decisions (this is a simplified version). Bertrand Russell foresaw a society of learned experts or technocrats that would oversee the scientific dictatorship (his words not mine)because as scientific knowledge accumulates fewer people can take the time to study or understand more than one subject and eventually even then it will just breakdown further into subcategories of expertise.

I agree with the flow rate observation. The server end seems inevitable as more and more people realize the limit of possible progressions, and the repetition factor for the time sink will kill it eventually. I stopped playing about a year ago out of boredom which is why I stopped playing EQ live, granted that was around GoD. But all tastes aren't the same. Some folks here have the enthusiasm of a first play through on their 50th. I think the forum state is due to boredom and the limits on what content may be posted, so we end up with shit-show conspiracy threads like this one.

I find it more about poor reading skills and inability to troll properly (common here).

I play (was ingame this morning in fact). Never stopped since launch of live. Played live until the emu project started with PEQ grand creation. I've posted threads like this around these parts for years. I've posted on this, monsanto and GMO's, dying honeybees, WTC, vaccinations, man-made global warming farce, bunch of other stuff and regular stuff.
