I want to roll on Hibernia as well! I had a couple questions real fast though!

Does race choice matter? Please explain. I am interested in playing a Lurikeen melee class, but their stats are quite a bit lower than Firbolg and Celt obviously. Will I be gimped if I choose a Lurikeen Hero or Blademaster? Is there tab targetting for other players in pvp or is the smaller stature somewhat of an advantage because you actually have to click on the person to target them?

Can you solo pve to max level with Blademaster, Bard, or Hero? If so, which one is the best for that? Everything I am reading says that bards are quite useful in general, but can they solo as well?

I played DAoC when it launched and remember having a blast. I tried each realm but gravitated towards Hibernia because of the overall look and feel of the classes and realm itself. It really reminds me of Ireland a lot and I love the green!

lurikeens make the best casters and night shades (hard to target, easier to hide in characters). Celt is solid choice for BM

all hib melees kind of suck soloing compared to casters. You can blow up blue/yellow cons, but will be alot of down time (although lower in comparison to downtime on p1999)

It's way too much to explain it all in detail here, come by our IRC tomorrow if you can, all the officers will be on in the day time and some in the evening. Although I'd seriously advise against rolling a melee as a first char, it's not going to be as much fun leveling with lvl 5 weapons.
