Shits live, nostalgic levels through the roof.

Grouped from 1-7 with a massive 8 man group just wrecking shit, was fun. Give it a try! Took a bit to get used to again thats for sure.

How're you guys doing in Midgard? Did you make your guild yet?

Logged into game world, saw like 35 people in my little starter area, and after 30 minutes I found 1 blue con mob. Everything else was unkillable. Logged off with no intention to return.

I'm having some problems with the launcher not working with WinXP so I'm not even playing yet, but my friends are lvl 9+.

Lol man, that's to be expected on the first day, it's another reason I'm not playing yet. Are you in Midgard or Hibernia? If it's the latter, you can group with my pals, they're levels 9+ but are trying out different chars also.

That was super frustrating for sure. I ended up talking to my class trainer and doing the quest he gave me, tossed me right into level 2. (It was just a delivery quest.) After that I could beat up more stuff.

Game is very unforgiving, once you get to lvl 5 you become your class and get alot more abilities.

1-5 sucks, group up, buy a better weapon. grind it out. its weaves out the weak

Yup, but wouldn't turn down another heh,

So far we got Skald, 3 warriors, 1 thane, 1 shaman, 1 bonedancer, 1 healer, 1 hunter, 1 zerker, 1 runemaster.

I met a group of guys from DAOC live that hopefully we can keep contact with throughout beta, everyone has been super friendly its awesome.

I love what you're doing Fifield! Midgard was my main jam back in DAOC live. I had a 50 kobold war ~ 47 norsewoman thane ~ 35 norseman shadowblade ~ 48 troll zerker.

I'm using the Beta to play Hibernia because I never really tried Hibernia, so what better time than when it doesn't matter so much other than helping them fix the game for launch.

I'm a bit jealous I can't roll with you guys though. To name a few, I have so many memories all over Midgard:

The crab beach with the hammer OTD (one time drop) from the mob on the boat.
Nisse's Lair & the lizards on the land across from Nisse's lair.
The trees in Myrkwood Forest near Gna Faste.
The giants of Muspelheim and the skeletons.

Too many to count, I wish you all the best. Maybe I'll see you on LIVE in Midgard [You must be logged in to view images. Log in or Register.]
