In free market capitalist systems, and even in mixed markets, wealth will always concentrate in the hands of the few over time. It's a fundamental law of economics that having wealth is conducive to not only producing more wealth, but acquiring a larger share of aggregate wealth. The only way to reverse this is through government or syndicate intervention in the form of taxation, labor unions, labor laws, subsidies, etc. Nobody is suggesting talented and driven individuals shouldn't be disproportionately and generously awarded for the value they add to society. But when the country is being systematically looted and driven to serfdom because the elite have become too adept at rigging the system, intervention is required. Making it so an entrepreneur only takes home $10 million a month instead of $12 million isn't going to deter him from doing what he's doing.

The fact that wealth has become so concentrated in the hands of an elite is secondary, anyway. The real problem is the fact that they can use that money to buy political power, buy the media, and basically rewrite our country's rules.
If you don't own a home, try finding affordable rent when there are no municipalities in much of the country that zone for middle-low income developments. After all, when you're in the business of buying up real estate and renting it out (as everyone with lots of money is doing right now), bringing down rent prices for affordable housing development is bad for business. That's just one way you're being fucked right now. There's also the fact that antitrust activity has all but stopped, and corporations in nearly every industry, from airlines, to banks, to food, to the media, are merging into just a handful of conglomerates, eliminating competition. But coming down on them for their behavior is just persecution right? The have-nots trying to pull one over on the haves? Fucking retard fiscal conservatives go to Mississippi get AIDS and die.
