I'm open for this debate. I grew up in the 80's though, the first car I was exposed to was an Audi, then a buick, then porche, then ferraris then finally saw my first lambo in the movie theatre well after I hit puberty.

But, I can totally respect Ferraris and Lambos equally. I think it would be nice to have a few of both.

Ferraris are totally the more sex appeal racy curvey aesthetic fancy feminine car, while Lambos are def the new age modern spaceship masculine fighter jet titanium things.

Even if Bernie fails, or only backs Hillary, his voice, and by proxy the voice of his voters is heard.

10 or 15 yrs ago someone like Bernie would have been stopped, mocked, and blocked from running.

At least now his voice is being heard.

It's not wrong to be progressive and promise progressive things. Those of you driving ferrari's aren't entitled to your ferrari's even though thats what America thinks this is about.

Your ferrari's are a privilage for living in this progressive civilization that through taxes and government protected your rights and privilage to have a ferrari and to work for that ferrari and to be educated and know about ferraris and to not be a fucking slaves.

We have a problem were the ferrari owners in general are ok, but some that own 10 or 12 ferrari's do so at the expense of protecting everyones rights to earn a ferrari if they are willing. And deliberately stop people from making a decent living and making ferrari's.

Suck on my ladyballs.
The solution is def not to give everyone a free Ferrari. Something given has no value. This is why I believe those who sustain via government handouts have low self esteem. No one likes to take a handout. People will do it, but they often will hate you for having to take it. As well, when someone else is paying your way, that is not freedom.

There is merit to what your saying. But technological industrial civiliation has thrown this balance out of wack?

How do you suppose everyone is to make a proper living in this era and in 3rd-1st world countries.

This is where the true realization of what people are saying comes in.

I really don't mind contributing to society, I like it. But I've had a hard knock life that I feel was unjustly imposed on me because of my birth. Fuckton better than some peasent in mogidishu or china, but I seek the BETTERMENT of all of humanity (even possibly at the expense of some of it, yay (fascist)) but hey

This is something we all have to figure out. I believe in justice, liberty, and freedom for all. And I believe in making people accept the consequences of NOT GIVING a shit and drowning themselves in beer and lottos and babies and drugs, and debt, and all the other things.

I doubt free ferraris would fix a damn thing, but it's a good metaphor, and it would be funny, and is a good thought experiment from a technological standpoint (robots can def help make ferraris)

maybe the upper class will be the ferrari designers and engineers who maintain the robots mass producing ferraris for everyone on the moon as they get shipped back to us! (I don't know i'm just being my typical crazy self at this point)

And yes I totally understand why some people do justly own a fuckton of ferraris (and possibly lambos) but I also know there are a fuckton of assholes all over all walks of life and I have suffered a fuckton of humanities bullshit to the point where I'm cold and hard hearted and honestly I'm way more ruthless than trump even if i'm not lucky and succesful.

At the end of the day material things are pointless and have nothing to do with any particular persons contributions to society nor should be the measure of ones quality of life. Yet we make people suffer under the most horrendous conditions, because we can't share properly or figure out how to automate efficiently and properly, or fight over something needlessly instead of looking at the big picture.

/rant off i'm going to go eat some of my delicious factory fed chicken and GMO carrots and onions.

Truly the main issue we face is over population. If you think about it, OP is the largest contributor to suffering in this world. Automation amplifies suffering, because fewer people are required to do the same tasks as before, yet we never stop creating new people. So what do they do?

We are hundreds if not thousands of years from unifying as a species, like some star trek type society. Someday though we will have to in order to reach the stars for real. Sadly though, even in that sort of world, there will be the down trodden because we can't stop breeding and someone has to clean the shit.

Then we should be able to recognize the merit and value in people, clean the shit, and not worry overmuch about the logistical and technological aspects. I guess I had this battle and I've picked my side in my head.

I'm ok with that. I know where my bounderies lay and I don't want to be on the losing side forever. In fact I'm really close to turning the gears of civilization in my favor, liberty is just a few minutes away for me. And in legal and ethical big picture sense. Part of that was going to school and developing a skill I am fond of that is not easily automated.

Another part of that is getting society to respect me for who I am.

The last part of that is taking advantage (Yes TAKING ADVANAGE) of whatever resources are available for me to start becoming productive in this great society we have. That includes all kinds of things like VA benifits (earned) SSI, being hauled away years ago in an ambulance after being suicidal. Etc...

I like to argue a lot it's better to give people a bit of breathing room than simply put your boot down on their neck and watch them squirm for a 2cnd ferrari.

This is why Bernie, Hillary, Obama, Biden etc are not really Democrats, not from the Democrats of old, not the traditional Democrat party which has essentially been hyjacked. They're something else entirely: https://youtu.be/1iMsqW8dF-E

Is there any actual proof that Bernie or Hillary or anyone else that high level in politics really literally believes in and works for these crazy people?

That is bat shit insane stuff, but that is not what I see when I see Bernie. Those kids need to grow up. And those videos are weird as fuck. But maybe thats because I was born in 1981.

Those people wont be running for office for another 40 yrs.

Is it possible what were seeing is fears on both sides of extremely small and extreme elements of our society becoming overly vocal and being given a voice because it makes $$ on fox news network or youtube pay per ad?

Are people, and candidates not a lot more moderate in reality?

Does change happen slowly enough because of checks and balances?

I still think it probably does either way.

Completely disregarded that thread, but so what, Hillary isn't going to hand your freedom over to some college kids, if anything she'll open a new government program to abduct them and run genetics and social simulations with them.

Not scared of someone who uses the word privilege, it is indeed a thing in the world, and the other is entirely irrelevant to Hillary or Bernie lol.

Well I actually bothered clicking the links and wow stay away from that dihydrogen monoxide. it's potent stuff! One speeks a trueism, and another one shows dysfunctional middle class white plebians who can't form an opinion. They should have interviewed me on what it means to be a white male ROFLMAOO!!!!!!!!!!!! hahahaha
