Bump. Someone should sticky this.
Why would the staff sticky this? This is not the first third party LFG website. It's up to the community to make it popular. Others have come and gone.

I haven't seen this posted on the P99 Facebook page, yet. C'mon, Pita! Get some publicity on it!

Makes it easier to become popular if it's stickied though.

I posted it on there a week or two ago. It's on the left hand side under Visitor posts. I still spread the word to anyone I see /ooc LFG. Most of them never knew it existed and start using it which is awesome [You must be logged in to view images. Log in or Register.]

Oh I know lol!

I try to explain to people that it literally takes about 5 seconds to post your LFG or LFP record, minimize your browser window, and go about your way playing EQ. The 5 seconds it takes to do that is so worth it! I know groups use the tool to look for more players because I have received tells that they saw me on Project LFG and I've gotten a group in zones that I was not even in at the time. Global /LFG ftw!

I've heard the "There is no one on it..." response before but explain that it's because others have the same attitude that they have (or they have already found a group).

Do yourselves a favor my fellow EQers and take the 5 seconds to post your LFG / LFP on the site! It can save you valuable time...or maybe they would prefer to /shout LFG for an hour or more??? lol

Oh, I was talking about the "EQ Project 1999" page. Very active page. No worries, I'll hook you up.

Hi. I think you filled a need that has been long standing here at P99.
Last hear I tried to initiate something like this but much simpler just by setting up an IRC channel on the same IRC server that #p99 runs on. But everyone that joined it saw no one but me in the channel and left. Rather than staying in the channel to hopefully get more people to stay.

The site looks great but you're definitely fighting an uphill battle.

I'm at work now but I'll be sure to start using it when I'm LFG at home.
The only real suggestion I have is to let me post multiple LFGs for all my toons. Not just one.
I seriously have 5+ alts that I would like to be LFG on. Every day when I login I drop something like "58 paladin, 57 rogue, 57 shaman, 45 cleric (com), 45 monk (com), and 36 SK (mm) LFG" in guild chat.

There's a workaround for now to just put yourself lfg for levels 1-60 and put everything in the comments.
But that would be a nice feature add for later.

I'll let you know if I have any issues or further feedback once I use it while actually LFG.
Good idea!

Not sure if you can see this post without being a part of the group, but here's the link in case you want to come defend or further sell your creation (not literally sell): Here

This is cool . Yet sad. that we have to use some off website to find group because its "classic" to have /who all LFG not work?
Can we agree that's bullshit? IMO they should fix it to help keep the social game going.

Also lots of stuff is not classic on here , so why make things like show no buff timers and break /who all LFG/ a lot of time spent fixing stuff that doesn't really matter (*while some big things are needing help) Seems this does take away from classic experience because it makes it harder to form groups for you new players.
Is your choice dev since all free time but would like to see ya not worry about stuff like breaking who all lfg.
ANY even basic GM events would be nice or some fixing of current issues like flowing thought not working or aura battle and fungi vindi etc not stacking.

Pretty sure /who all LFG worked in 99? use to work here
