Yeah, I have thousands of hours in Arma 2 but I just picked up 3 during the last steam sale and have barely played it so I couldn't speak on it. I would say Arma 3 is probably more advanced in those areas as Siege can be kind of arcadey at times.

Yeah it takes quite a bit of time to get into, even if you get rusty, it's one of the deepest sandboxes I've encountered, and I <3 sandbox games. I didn't play 2, but I've played 1. This was my switch from the Battlefield series after having played that for a lot of years (BF2142 having been my top fav there).

Arma 3 looks impressive as hell, plus you can do stuff like this (praise be unto Hammertime)
