1. The XP bonus encourages everyone to group and make friends (this is good).
2. If anyone knows about this "easy pixels" thing, please let me in on it. Everyone I know has been leveling up on hard times.

yeah that's definitely a thing for int casters - choose the important ones.

Really?? Maybe you should reread some of your "promote red" posts.
True, you don't use the word easy but you sure as hell imply it... and you hardly ever mention pvp.

Right on, glad to hear it ^^ I think the reason you see more threads promoting it for things other than pvp is because it already has obvious appeal for those who enjoy it. There are plenty of other reasons too though of which many, if not most, players are unaware. I am not sure I have ever seen it sold as easy except by angry naysayers though ^^

Yea on "easy" pixels.. its not really the case. Sure some end game content is kind of a bit easier, epics for example. becuse you arnt competing against so many folks. This should not be such an advantage come the triggerable spawns (tho I have no experiance with that type of EQ cus I am vanilla as f). A lot of other content is more difficult to get on Red.

Sure nearly every camp in seb is open to you to solo right now.. Its just a lot more difficult to pull off the camp becuse you have to learn how to hold a camp and not die from pvp instead of just pve. Takes a lot of practice and a whole different type of skills.

However the camps are open, and once you do learn those skills you can have great success!

Mainly red is just more fun, its less of a "this guy was a jerk to me - he stole my camp - this guild trained my group - this bard is monopolizing the zone" etc.

there IS pvp but the server doesnt revolve around it, id say 50% of the server does. The other 50% like the added danger, the added "open-ness" of something else to do with your sweet loots. The more classic feeling of grouping with 6 folks who are likely all fresh starters...

There is a lot that red offers that is purely classic fun.

If I had to say that blue offers something that red doesn't, besides the ability to afk whenever you want, its that blue has things like open PoG clears.. but honestly i could count the # of times I've seen stuff like that happen in 2.5 years on my hands... So, idk.

From now on, server size is NOT something anyone from blue should be bragging about. If you only knew how much better the CONTENT was in classic EQ opposed a gaggle of asbergery nerds clamoring for pixels...

Remind me... exactly what does that pile of garbage provide that an open world full of content, on top of an added features of pvp provide? I cant think of anything positive.

If red got rid of the double xp and the global /ooc people would take it seriously. As it is now you're constantly spammed with juvenile jackassery and you have to use /shout as an alternative to /ooc. Also this trolls and iksar grouping with elves shit is stupid on a pvp server.
