I think the really horrifying part about this scandal is the people who voted for a 300 million dollar cut to embassy security are the same people that tried to blame Hillary Clinton for the tragedy.

I don't think this is about Hillary though. Its about the dead Americans. Some people may have an agenda sure, or it may be politically convenient. But to many of us that's all just nonsense. We just want anyone held accountable for the security failure, even if it turns out "defunding" the embassy security by the House of Representatives is what contributed to or directly caused this. We will find out, name and shame, etc. But this investigation is far far from over so lets hold judgement and let the process play out.

You heard the committee tonight, they plan on questioning 20 more witnesses in the same fashion they questioned Hillary. Its an investigation, not a prosecution. Hillary is not being prosecuted here, just a fact-finding expedition due to the Obama administrations lack of transparency and cooperation with the initial investigation for the inquiry by Congress in the first place.

Even if the optics appear that way, its about the State Department's failures. She just happened to be the Secretary of State.

Great post. I think it's important not to devour the chum of the media. Yes, Hillary was the big story. But they are still gonna interview tons more people.

After seeing Mr. Jordan tear apart those 3 conflicting emails: one where Clinton told her daughter and the Libyan govt it was a planned Al Qaeda like attack and the other email she released from State that told the American public it was because of a video, I really want to see them find more cracks in the story.

The ineptitude of this branch of government does not fully revolve around Hillary. And they owe it to the families to have whoever was responsible clean out their desk and gtfo out of Washington.
