Can we get back on track and theorize about which one of us is actually Smedley, playing p99 and forumquesting in disguise?

I find it unlikely Smed knew about the Scandinavian system at the time he sent the tweet, given his outrage about the sentence handed down.
I don't like rape jokes, particularly prison rape jokes, and I'm wholely convinced that was Smedley's meaning. That's the entirety of it. Nothing to do with SJWs or whatever kind of activism you're assuming.

I'm not a prison worker; I run an IT department and I know this. Why wouldn't the CEO of a multi-national company? I think everyone here understands you don't like rape jokes, and that's OK. Guess what: I don't either! What's NOT ok is reading the god damned tea-leaves to determine what was or wasn't on Smedley's mind after the man himself, his family, his livelihood and everything else about him has been under constant assault for the last few years, then using those magic tea-leaves to label him as a proponent of child rape! That's a leap of logic off the cliff of reason and straight into Alex Jones' backyard wading pool.

Jokes are funny because they are NOT what you expect or necessarily agree with. Calm down, nobody is support rape by making a rape joke.
Dave Chapelle makes racist jokes all the time. I laugh. Am I now a racist? Also, comments made in anger do not usually reflect reality. I highly doubt Smed would support rape, or prison rape, if he saw it happen. Nobody would (except sadistic people). It's disgusting and sad. That's the nature of strong emotions, though, they lead people to say and do stupid things. I can't say I wouldn't feel just as upset/outraged as Smed if what happened to him and his family happened to myself. TL;DR Get off your high horse. You're not perfect.

If he stays, I bet he will try something along the lines of mobile/facebook games, something dbg doesn't really tap into. If anyone was able to find a way to make that extra buck with a game it sure was Smedly, and those types of games can be very low budget with very high return.
