ya not very cool imo, considering we are here for nostalgia and nothing else is following the real timeline

Any GMs can comment on if the plank still spawns and if it can spawn under water? Spent 6 hours with bard speed looking for it and found nothing [You must be logged in to view images. Log in or Register.]

Thanks

So basically hundreds have been picked up by MQ2 and ShowEQ users, non-cheating folks have none or almost none.

IMO remove ALL the existing planking (99% or close to 100% have been obviously picked up by cheaters who bee-lined to the spawns. The first link in /ooc on red has been seen MINUTES after ports to Velious opened during the GM event.)

Remove all existing planking and make it somewhat hard to get. Make it a super rare drop off cougars or something like that. Ground spawns, albeit classic, are trivially exploited by cheaters. Make it classic by making them hard to obtain.

The fact that cheating is rampant doesn't make it any more acceptable.

You do realize they have systems in place to prevent this or basically insta-alert them if its going on, yea? IF there were people doing this, im sure they have felt the banhammer and planks deleted already.

What if the people who got planks already spent there time on beta finding where the planks spawned, knowing it would be a nice cash camp?
I dont have a plank, but I seen a druid on red get one after velious was released for 20 mins.

The spots that were previously recorded and tracked for the last year got changed. [You must be logged in to view images. Log in or Register.]

For what it's worth, the spots I had designated for most of beta were replaced with random spawn points a while ago.

Didnt know that. Was just trying to figure out how so many were found. I never played beta and havnt attempted to find one since my main is an enchanter. I know that someone on the first raft over found one within 20 mins of velious even being opened.
