Let's be honest, there are going to be full 6 man enchanter groups at the pond, gy & ce.

I'm hoping re99 is actually the first teams server. And at the end you can choose to park your character on red OR blue.

lol. got my mind thinking. there's a critical saturation point for enchanters, at which point every spawn in the zone is charmed and there's no uncharmed mobs to kill. =p

Correct me if I'm wrong but if you are grouped the class penalties are spread and you should level at same rate. Also class/race penalties rule they shouldn't be removed.

Nobody comes to play on classic for XP penalties. There's no real reason to keep them.

This is why I was curious. I can't see any real benefit to them and I don't think removing them really detracts (at all) from the classic experience. Plus, once the Re99 server gets to Velious, you don't have to worry about the gimmicks Sony played to prevent sudden level jumps and imbalanced death penalty hits.

Bards? That's your #3 priority? If you're willing to sacrifice classic mechanics for classic experience, raid scene and consumable items need rework waaayyy before AEing bards (and chardok ae) do.
