A lot of the players from Blue seem to be having a great time on Red, I group with them on my lvling alts all the time, it's win/win they get exp and so do I! Something insane like +290% for a full group!

Why I'll never create a character on red is based entirely on the fact that I have absolutely zero interest in PVP. I didn't play on a PVP server on live, and never had any interest in playing on one. I have no interest in playing on one in P1999, and I imagine I'm not alone. I'm sure Red is a fine server, I just simply don't want the "PVP experience". It's a personal choice. I'm sure I'm not alone, which is why Red's population is low. PVP is a niche market. There's nothing wrong with that. There is also nothing wrong with brussel sprouts. I happen to not like them, which is why I don't buy them at the grocery store. So to me, red is like brussel sprouts. I'll pass.

Actually the Brussels sprouts is even a better analogy than you thought.
If you cook them well (pan-fried, little olive oil, seasoning) they taste great but if you cook them wrong (boiled) they taste awful. All in the approach.
