I'm against implementing a fix for bind camping, but I am FOR seasons/wipes, the point reduction on bind camping i feel is a fair way to handle it. Take my bind camping for example, I was chain killed for 2 hours and was still higher then every other level 60 on the leaderboard other then Deluxee (from 5th? to 18t?~)

He does make an interesting point implicitly, though. Azrael players are big on these boards and big on getting behind votes for shit while probably 70% of the server doesn't frequent these boards.

It's an inherently skewed exercise to gauge shit like this, especially when it's from a player with ties to one guild and a ridiculous backing despite what may or may not be against their own interests.

Basically, politics.

As far as the discussion at hand, I don't really care about the leaderboard or what's done with it. There's dozens of variables this simplistic board can't record or account for, so it's not really something people think holds weight (who is good and who's not), let alone is it even worth a serious discussion.

If you get bind camped it's really your own fault; i.e afking, falling asleep etc. we all know you can /q to avoid it

and @ what salem said, I think you should do wipes for seasons.

Take for example someone gets killed 40 times leveling up (new player), but then gets the skill/gear etc at 60 to compete they have a massive disadvantage @ trying to climb the board. If every 3 months it's wiped clean for a fresh season then that person can have another crack at it.

This would also clear the banned/afk players who are on the board been listed.
