If the top 10 PKs on the server suffered item loss when downed (Rallos Zek style) I guarenfuck'nteeyaboy they'd be considering ragging it from time to time.

Eerie tool, the talking about ocd, weightlifting, drugs alcohol and playing a "10 year old pixelated box". Hell they even got a guy named jodi a post down. I was there when that forum launched but it was toxic as hell, idk what it is but reading it now it seems hilarious to me

Determining if a rule has been broken at all is the root of the problem. And that has to be done if a rule has been broken or not.

Mass petition != rules broken

The problem isn't LNS, it's the five to ten habitual rule breaking fire giants who think if they keep breaking the same rules repeatedly that somehow it will be permissible to do so. Ban the fire giants, not change the rules.

The SEC can't stop insider trading with any real efficiency, should we legalize it?
Thousands of murders go unsolved every year, should we legalize murder?
99% of speeders will not get a ticket for speeding at that moment, should we abolish speed limits?
What about the rampant credit fraud, theft, etc., which goes unpunished?

Thanks.

Those other scenarios don't relate. Murders aren't investigated by volunteers nor are the other crimes. It isn't a life or death scenario. It doesn't have financial livelihoods hanging in the balance. It's a project staffed by volunteers who could better use that time to release Velious, wipe red, implement Haynar's PvP patch and initiate variance.

I would just like to note that HB killed me on LnS before.

Sirken isn't a dev, Derubael isn't a dev, Aussie isn't a dev, etc. Their time being used to enforce rules is precisely what their volunteer job description is. By them spending time on enforcing the rules, they are in no shape taking away from Velious coding time. The implementation of the PvP patch is 100% dependent on Rogean, who doesn't have anything to do with PnP enforcement. Wiping red is again not in the hands of any of the volunteer staff.

Thanks.

Volunteer fire fighters should stop trying to deal with arson because it's near impossible to stop, their time could be better spent designing a cure to cancer.
