I guess it all depends on each persons version of fun. Some play to just log in & have fun in whatever way they wish for X amount of time.

First, prime time pop is ~200. Second, it depends why you play. The raid scene is pretty much one guild at the moment with occasional fun skirmishes. It seems based on the amount of bitching on the blue boards in regards to raiding, that many people wish they could raid more mobs, more often, and get more pixels. This desire can be satisfied via Red99. Obviously those who play Blue for the EC Tunnel trading game and the "nostalgia" feel of grouping @ orc 3 in EC, won't find Red99 the right server for them. But I have to imagine there are power-gamer types on Blue who want to be the first to kill Vulak / AoW, etc., get big loot, and not wait 3 years to get it. For those people, Red99 is where they should be.

There are plenty of people raiding with me right now who are converts from Blue, so while you personally may not be interested, it has attracted people.

Its just slightly amusing listening to red people make fun of blue players as carebears...as they try and entice people over to their server with 300% exp bonus, free, gear, and no waiting for raid mobs.

But yeah, red hardcore!

I leveled to 60 with zero exp bonus with constant pvp and where you lost 1-2% exp every time you died in PVP, including in levels such as 59 where it can take an hour + to grind that back. I'm not sure what you're talking about with free gear unless you mean some friendly hand outs, something easily obtainable on blue. And I'm not sure how not having to poop sock mobs is "carebear", we fight for the mobs.
