He really hates it when you take "his" skarlon from him too. I mean because everyone knows that whoever is camping Tranix has rights to Skarlon too as a consolation prize if no crown drops....remember when you said that to me blitz? Hope you get a thrombosis and die, soon.

Logged in my enchanter and Improvise is AFK camping the spore king despite having two fungi tunics clearly corpsed already.

I blame Hokushin and IB for turning TMO into a constant AFK farm guild.

And Rogean/Sirken/Derubael, is this really how you want your server endgame to be?

Spore king has been camped for years. Same with Tranix, efreeti, pained soul, frenzy, campX. The oddity is how dedicated he is to keeping it camped.

This really isn't anything new. For a long time, I had trouble getting Drusella for a NoS. That's a 24 hour respawn.

If Blitzkragg wasn't there, I wouldn't expect to waltz in and find Tranix up.

My problem is currently we have several extremely profitable camps that can be done while AFK. Since they require so little effort, we have 5-10 people, mostly from TMO, who spend literally all day every day at one. And really the only good reason to do so is RMT.

Conclusion: time to make Tranix FTE, allow groups to camp the spore king on his spawn point, and generally change the rules to disallow this idiocy.

Game is boring with AFK campers.

Tranix was fte at some points in his life. It was on a case by case basis / at gm discretion. I preferred that. Then one day I show up and I'm informed it's a camp and from this moment on no matter who calls it it will be a camp.

I traded the camp off a few times after that. I used a friends shaman, who he used to camp it. but I got bored. There was just so much more fun stuff to camp and I would rather play the game.

You can't tell me you don't remember shm mnk duos at spore king before invis nerf. You would see the same people there day after day. Wake up and it would be jeremy + mnk1. Check the camp later and it was jeremy +mnk2. Later on...cleric1 +mnk2. People get rich, get loaded with the tradeables of kunark and a new set of people 'discover' the secret camp spots.

Exactly. We both farm a lot and find it fun, but we mix it up because our goal is to both get some pixels and have fun doing it. And we don't RMT.

And I hated it then too. If you check the old A-Team threads you can see I was really pumped about invis pulling getting nerfed.
