Shaman + necro pvp in classic =

Pet sgets buffs stacked, junk buff on top removed (root will go here).

Magic resist / pet haste at bottom of stack.

Pets with magic resist were something you just could not root on live + sow -> hope you got sow at same or higher strength cuz once they draw a bead on you and bash... you are in deep shit.

Necro open with dispel on target -> shaman open with decay to debuff disease -> CoC + siphon strength = -60 STR on target... caster without str buff goes to 1 str... aka "rooted" hard as fuk.
