I remember when red dawn had a bad wipe. Azrael showed up and bind camped them for a few hours naked. Nihilum didn't assist that day. That's the day red dawn started to break down.

Azrael had a lot to do with Red Dawn disbanding, as well as the exp bonus removal.

The crowns that I know of went to Lite on Novus [still plays and is actively helping Hokuten], Slathar on Coat [still plays and has been helping], and Jibeknn who leads Hokuten. So I'm not sure how you want to claim they are crowns of retirement for Azrael members.

Also, I don't want to see any Nihilum members crying about loot shenanigans with Azrael when your guild leader was banned for RMT, there are daily posts on Nihilum message boards asking where guild bank items went, and the entire system is a disaster. Let's be real, all the guilds on this server have terrible loot systems, little to no officer/leader accountability, and would never last on a server with actual pop and competition such as Blue99, where guilds are forced to be transparent or lose members to other dragon slaying guilds.

There is truth to what you say, more competition would mean that guilds would need to be more transparent... On that note, guess which guild dropped off the level 60 scene, turned around and made pvp alts (+ delevel their own toons) to grief the influx of new players?

Every guild is guilty of this. I think nihilum probably does it less overall, but I have no data to support that.
