Personally don't care about casinos, but can we get people to stop posting WTB/WTS threads in OOC in EC?

Every song I play is actually just me screaming the 1812 Overture in a raspy, shrieking falsetto.

You sure about that Detox? Unbrella's ability to get in touch with them was pretty amazing if I recall.

did OP submit a petition? Any word on it yet? Curious as if GMs are actually doing anything about these scammers? I saw that one post where they did.

When casinos are outlawed, only outlaws will run casinos. What P99 needed was an outlaw casino and Cecily was just the outlaw the outlawed outlaw casino needed.

I just commended this guy a couple of days ago when someone hit the Fungi+CoF roll and he paid up. Then he started his new rules with the ability to roll for the Fungi (125p), the CoF (175p), or both (300p) and I had a chat with him asking him how he was doing with the Casino operation since he was laying odds that were so against him (valuing the Fungi at 62500 and CoF at 87500) and mentioned that I would have expected something much closer to 200p for a Fungi roll, 300p for CoF, and 450 for a combined roll to entice more action there which would value the Fungi at 100k, CoF at 150k, and the combined would still value at 225k. He replied saying it was thrilling to run but it certainly was stressful and said he'd probably be taking a bit of a break from doing it and coming back with something like I suggested. I guess he should have just taken that break...

Honestly, I don't see the issue with Casinos as long as the players running them aren't scamming. I actually loved that Arrowd was doing something more than the standard double/triple your plat and was giving something much more exciting that would be more akin to hitting big on a lottery ticket as opposed to winning a few extra bucks on a scratch ticket. That being said, unless you've got some seriously deep pockets and can afford the potential hit of your first customer coming up and winning right away, you shouldn't even consider running such an operation. Likewise, unless you're willing to take a financial hit and want to do it just because you think it's fun, you should probably know how to calculate basic odds and price in a bit of a house edge...
