I was porting up some coin on my druid this evening whilst reading the webs. When you're a non-factor, those epic MQs aren't going to farm themselves.

Target tells you, 'you doing ports?'

/who all target shows he's a member of TMO, so I figure it's ok. Most TMO folk tip well.

You told Target, 'sure'

Awkward moment of silence where I expect this idiot will tell me where he wants to go...

You told Target, 'where from/to?'
Target tells you, 'I need pickup from Feerrott to as close as you can get to seb'

Now CotH only works in the zone, so its not like TMO folk didn't need to make the run at least once to camp their seventh alts out at Trak. He doesn't know where he wants to be ported to or the quickest way to Seb? But hey, he's TMO so I port into Feerrott.

You told Target, 'here. i can port to DL and grab you in karnors for an evac to EJ. That's all we can do'
Target tells you, 'kk'

I port to DL then gate to KC and wait at the zone and med. And med... And med...

You tell your party, 'will port as soon as you zone in'
Target tells the group, kk sorry got delayed by idiots'
Target tells the group, 'almost there =p'
You tell your party, 'no worries'

At this point an IB warrior asks for an evac to EJ. IB apparently knows how to get to Seb.

You tell your party, 'heya'
You tell your party, 'porting as soon as target zones in'
Target says, 'Hail'
You tell your party, 'inc EJ'

We land in EJ.

Target tells the group, 'can I get a sow plz'

He gets his sow. I had hit him when we left Feerrott, but he took so long to get to KC it was probably fading.

Target adds some coins to the trade.
The total trade is: 18 PP, 0 GP, 0 SP, 0 CP

The total trade is: 18 PP, 6 GP, 23 SP, 0 CP

IB warrior tips me 43 PP. I didn't need to pick him up. I didn't need to wait 15 mins on him. Didn't need to port him twice. In fact, he waited on me waiting on Target.

You tell your party, 'thanks. have fun'
Target tells you, 'sorry... someone took my money'
You told Target, 'ok. have a good one'

He then ran off toward COM. Godspeed you worthless asshole.

Summary: Target <TMO>. Ogre warrior too stupid or cheap to bank in Oggok before leaving Feerrott. Wears a Cobalt BP, but doesn't know how to get to Sebilis. Slow as fuck. "Shares" his account with someone who took his money.

tldr: That's two minutes tops. And that's only if you're disabled. Learn to read or go text someone you worthless lazy fuck.

What was he saving the copper for? Was that the tip for the port out?
Copper deleted, that was probably everything on him.

I think your main problem was expecting the casual TMO member to actually know shit about everquest.

I think we can all agree, there is about 5-10 people in TMO that have a clue. The rest just follow directions and do what they are told, when they are told to do it.

Unfortunately, this is why I don't port people on my druid for cash. You would be surprised how many level 60 veterans, from every guild, pay less than 15 plat for ports. Luckily I don't need to use the druid as my main source of income. I always enjoyed tipping well to keep the porters happy, but that's just me.

Everyone on P99 has their pitchforks and torches ready, waiting on a person to charge at from moral high ground. Never underestimate the power of a good on the spot shaming.

I pay in gems, usually 1 ruby per port.
