In truth Agatha and his bro were pretty awesome to play with outside of guild raids and I hope I could be doing stuff with them in the future, so I guess there is a chance some of u guys would be cool to play with, but the way you guys conduct yourselves on the forum on a frequent basis destroys all hope of any association from our less extreme player-base.

its about loot and thats it, the "Other people are douches" excuse doesn't work when half your guild is made up of people who were in the other same guilds your complaining about
u got ezpk/strydur/etc types and no cares becuz loot is flowing thats the only reason people join the big guild is too progress their character as fast as possible to the detriment of the server as a whole i mean it sux its the individuals responsibility to stop the server from being a 12 person server again but with this low of a population pool its just how it goes

Nihilum; where you cry about everyone behind their backs due to them deleting your gear in the past, deleting your toon, hoarding guild banks, or RMTing. But still shut the fuck up because you have no place in any other guild when people realize how shit tier you are.
Example; See Checkraise in PvP, or almost any Nihilum member.

I do not understand why anyone who played on the Live servers would come to believe that what has happened on Red with Nihilum is caused by PvP, a result of low population or that the outcome was unusual or unique in any way.
The much larger populations on Live may have created a buffer between the big guilds and the general population, but monopolies existed on every server, PvE or PvP. It has been more excessive because of forums and ooc and voicechat make all the shit-flinging public. We're not exactly the cream of the crop of the old players either. We're the addicts still clinging on to idealized memories for whatever reason we each have to justify our actions. It does not make us bad or immoral, just more likely to pick the faster paved road over the gametrail through the mountains. Both lead to the same place, and each side has a pedestal to stand on and try to look down on the other. Every guild can be dethroned. If I still had the drive I used to have on Live I could probably build a guild that could topple Nihilum. It takes more effort and self-sacrifice than any sane person would agree to and then you need a handful of people you trust without hestitation that you can convince to put the members ahead of themselves. Don't make a heirarchy either, be democratic officers. I had six other officers so no dispute was a tie and it worked incredibly well. Lead by example, because people will always resent the one ordering them around and they will hate the guy that has BiS gear and acts like he did not need others to get it all. Basically, what you need ideally is a group of people who aren't the kind that usually play on Emulated servers. If you think you can do it, then do it. Another two years of forum wars isn't a better use of your time and effort. Oh, and before I forget, one little lesson I learned the hard way is that the Guild Leader and the Raid Leader should NEVER be the same person. Those two roles are supposed compliment, oppose and sometimes even restrain each other. If one person is both then the entire guild is dependent on them and completely at their mercy. If you want to be both, you should not even think about making a guild. You cannot be a good leader with selfish intentions. Whether you listen or ignore me is up to you, and doesn't matter to me at all. I've already practiced what I preach and I have nothing to prove anymore. I am probably a pretentious asshole, but I know what I am talking about and I have yet to see a Leader on Red that cared more about others than themself, let alone one that could inspire loyalty instead of buying it with gear
