Seriously Casey is a super helpful guy in-game. He gave out a fortune worth of items to new players and guildies and spent a huge majority of his time PLing people so they wouldn't get bored.

Fucking free Casey.

P.S. I agree with the novella written above this server was at it's best before guard assist, before PnP, and before all the crying. As much as I dislike it I've had to make peace that most people have terrible taste in their elfsim emulation and as such understand why the changes made were neccesary.

Casey comes in extremes. He is extremely helpful to his allies and new players (almost to the point of being sick) and extremely hostile towards his enemies. You don't hear him say it much and if you didn't know him you wouldn't know you self but he has leveled dozens and dozens of people for nothing. Many times he would just let his pals AFK while he solo'd on his druid (and they were hybrids) all night long.

It sucks when one bad deed can condemn a man who has a thousand good deeds. I guess its like RL. EverQuest = RL

Insane people don't have the benefit of fitting in or having similar views as others, this is correct. The majority will tailor the rules to fit the majorities play style whether intentional or not. Not much anyone can do about it Casey.

There's a difference between humor and just berating people. It's the difference between a great stand up comedian and some fat black guy who just starts making fun of obvious people in the audience. It's good for a laugh or two, but you start to feel a bit uncomfortable.

Gonna add to the list of good things about Saint Casey

He has a Titanium torrent that has been up for a year or so. It has a setup guide on how to log on p99 as well. He has brought players to both blue and red. I think that serves some pras.

He is also helpful in the technical forums which most people dont even bother looking at.

Starting out late on a PVP server is tough. Casey helped me out when I started on this server. I didn't make any "Hey im new give me loot post", but Casey found me and gave me some weapons and starting equipment. He also spent time plvling me. Hes a true pal and I hope he gets unbanned soon.

I agree that losing Casey sucks for the community no matter what he says on the forums/ooc but at the same time the rules need to be followed. You can't allow people to break rules because of good deeds in the past but hopefully it does influence the harshness of the penalty. I'm glad this was just a suspension and I think too often penalties are too harsh on this server.

Remember when Nizzar linked that oven pic to HB? Remember when Agatha went captain insano with RL death threats? I don't think they got banned in game.

I agree that the forum and OOC should be cleaned up, but GM consistancy would be nice too.
