As far as the cause of my ban, you really need to make up your mind, did I call you Nazi faggots or Nazi faggot ******s? Your story lacks consistency. Let me help you a bit: wrong on both counts.
It was someone else's thread and they were complaining about you not allowing the words "faggot" and "******", I then said that such freedom of speech restrictions resemble that of a fascist state. You'll deny it I'm sure but you know it's true.

I don't care if the ban is justified in your eyes or not. What I do care about is the obvious nepotism that Alarti, Tiggles and Jeremy get to the point where if even a single post is made pointing out something they get away with, the threads/posts suddenly disappear.

Lastly the gear. I've logged in once in the past year and have less than 10k plat in gear. It's a bard. Nobody cares. If you're going to threaten shit at least be less of a jackass and say you'd give what little gear there is away.

Depends on the situation. Some people care about their forum accounts quite a bit, so just the banning itself can motivate them to clean up their act. Recently we've started tying forum account bans/suspensions to in-game account bans/suspenions for extreme cases as an extra motivator to behave. Sometimes it works and sometimes it doesn't The forum ban is really just an early warning for some, for others it's a really big deal.

I'd prefer to not have to ban anyone's in-game account for something they did on the forums at all (and in recent memory, I don't think this has been done in quite a while, but sometimes a line gets crossed too many times and action needs to be taken.
