I don't know why these threads get a rise out of people anymore. Azrael thinks they win if they get more YTs, everyone else thinks they win when the objective is accomplished (pixels). That's why both sides think they won. I don't like seeing our guys get YT'd but we had a numbers advantage. Considering YTs are meaningless and you can rez people right back to where they die when you secure the zone, "zerging" you was a completely legitimate option and the correct strategy. We chased you out, that was our goal. You got more YTs, and apparently that is your goal. Everybody wins I guess?

Fact of the matter is if not for a crazy timed simulated repop when we were in TD killing Fay where you managed to beat an underequipped and outleveled group of RD with even numbers in EJ (right next to your guild bind) you would have killed 0 raid mobs, despite having a force large enough to kill any raid target in the game. I give you complete credit for that, you went for the only target you had any chance in getting and got it done. But that doesn't alter the fact that it was a complete gift of circumstance and is very unlikely to happen again (although to be fair, both simulated repops have been on a Sunday correct?).

Then you come on here, claim clear and decisive victory. The amusing part to me is how much venom you all would have spewed in our direction had we steamrolled RD with superior levels and gear the same exact way your crew of white knights did yesterday.

I guess whats important is everyone seemed to have a good time. It was disappointing that your day ended in PVE wipe when there still might have been a battle or two later on with the second round of repops coming. Rushing PD was a big gamble but probably worth the risk. I'm hoping your guild doesn't burn out or bail to another server, we need a third "faction" to keep things interesting.

We were completely aware we'd lose a lot of people porting in. We still accomplished what we wanted to in that encounter, a dead Sev. Like I said in my TLDR post, the conditions of victory are very different for Azrael than they are for us. Apparently we both won, somehow.

See Kergan, that is where you are wrong. This is a PVP server. And the PVP guild won. 30 v 80 we got 12 or 13 YTs as the grp of 80 only got 3.

Now if this was blue server, then yes you guys won you got most mobs. The primary objective of the red server is pvp, pixels come after.

I completely disagree with your assessment of this server, and EQ PVP servers in general. But to each their own.
