Make whatever name you want. Factorness not required for this, as I too am a non factor.

I thought racial xp penalty didn't get shared by the group? If this isn't the case i'm only grouping with halflings from now on...

Yeah I don't think it does. For faction reasons alone I'd suck it up and go human or erudite. SK is gonna be the fearbot anyway, paladins do much better generating agro at low levels as their high agro spells don't have a long recast and are lower mana.
