when i was 10, i panic animal'd solo in iceclad/eastern-wastes 34-48. i think it gave my character a badass background story though when i hit 60.

"He mastered his tracking and combat skills in his years in the frozen tundra, living off the unforgiving land, tracking down cougars, rhinos and mammoths and wearing their claws as jewelry."

I did that too! And getting donations from necros/mages soloing giants selling off fine steel weapons for them.

Like I said earlier, I have a Troll SK up to 30 and it's really not that bad with the penalty. Of course I really like my character and the play style so that really helps along with playing in groups of fast pulling and skilled players.
