Playing origins?

What is the difference between this and Uthgard? I know Uthgard is mostly Euro which makes play times weird. DAOC isnt good with out at least 300 players. Is this Classic DAoC? Are there custom RvR maps? I was looking for a better FAQ or a better explanation of what exactly this server is, couldn't find much info. Just confused why this is pulling so many people and why don't they just play Uthgard. Convince me to play!

was up. u using portal or the launcher? the launcher is a piece of shit and doesnt work. i tried using it for about 2-3 hours off and on. tried the portal once and got in. i ran into a red99 right off the bat. a nilly even. hehe

The biggest difference is that you can't play Uthgard since it shut down after everyone went to Origins.

Used the launcher which said service down. Others I asked said they noticed they got a server down message as well, never asked what they used to connect.

launcher is broke, do not use. use the portal instead.

at first i used the guide on main page. it was a no go. then i used this one on forums. worked like a charm
