I was in DL near KC, did not experience any lag and the zone did not crash. So unless there is some magical program that can caused localized lag spikes within a zone I'm not aware of, it probably had more to do with the 75 bodies you were throwing at a dragon while simultaneously getting hit with mass AOEs in both PVP and PVE. Conditions which make any comparison to previous encounters meaningless because these specifics happened for the first time last night.

Another possible reason you were unable to cast spells: http://wiki.project1999.com/Denon%27s_Bereavement . It like...stuns.

Coming here crying we cheated just makes you look like whiners.

don't know what it was, but it definitely wasn't denon's. also we had more people at ragefire shortly before and not a single issue. something definitely was out of the ordinary. not claiming tinfoil hat but shit was weird.

That is exactly what it was actually. Whether or not that caused the lag I don't know, but your raid was getting hit with denon's. Were you getting hit with PVP AOEs at ragefire? In one of the largest zones in the game tracking probably 10x the mobs as SolB?

it was frapsed u blithering idiot

there were no bereaverments because the bard was RAPTURED

it wasn't normal lag either. pretty lulsy to me someone had to do this to save GORENIARE

pro tip : when a person experiences lag, everything stops. Then after a few seconds everything returns back to normal with a huge surge in text and pixilation.

This is not the lag we experienced last night. As soon as the dragon was engaged, 5 seconds later the dragon was at 65% and then the server hiccups. Dragon never warped, people weren't warping as usual, and everything was acting normally. EXCEPT spells and abilities were loicked out.

Wierdest lag ive ever seen and I know it was created on purpose.

gimmy that tin foil because this is some goofy shit

Haha. It's funny knowing what actually happened and then seeing people invent stories.

I have seen this exact same lag happen several times on raids. Most recently was when we were raiding right after the server moved to its new location. The anti ddos stuff was not in.

So it does happen. I have no idea what caused the lag, it could have been many things. But I would never support ANYONE crashing or lagging a zone.

I think this part of Nihilum story is legit. I think lag screwed the raid, not some raptured bard.

FoH could have camped naked corpses the same way themselves. Last night was a waste of time, not guild vs guild. It was lag vs guild followed by pointless arguments.
