always wondered about that shit -- does it pick up a ton of background noise from the speakers?

What exactly is five monitors useful for? I have two (at work and at home), and can't really see a use for more.

It surely depends on what you do though. For gaming/facebook/SPSS/online shopping, two is enough for me!

people actually use more than one monitor for: boxing, one on wiki,one one music,one on game ect,ect....
