This is the whole point. Without variance you literally do nothing but have your same 50 wheelchair bound cripples log in and kill things in the same order each week. You are 90% of the lvl 60 population, who could contend with you?

Atleast with variance people might quit your guild out of frustration and start their own because they can pick off targets, the sick part is you will recruit more but one day no one will want to play under you because 99% of the players have gone through the Nihilum meat grinder, then what will you do for a living when you can't RMT all your plat/items?

they'll recruit more people when we start contesting also. who cares what Nihilum does? Dunno, I don't play to win 100% of the time. No1 in professional sports wins 100% of the time. You play, you win some you lose some. Who cares? All people need to see is a viable second option for obtaining loot and goals, and Nihilum will no longer be able to attract as many people. I'm working on doing that.

Not as simple as a yes or no for me. I would say yes if it was a narrow window, say ± 1-3 hours, but not ± 6-24 hours. I don't like the idea of one group / guild locking down raid targets because they know exactly when they are going to pop, but I also loath poopsocking.
