Chest,

I think your having difficulties understanding certain basic concepts.

You mention 95+ hours of tracking per week, but, in fact, most people in TMO will never do 95 hours of tracking in a year, or even two years. Now, some people are cray cray, and carry more of the load. Thats fine with me, i appreciate the work, and they get rewarded for it. Often they burn out too [You must be logged in to view images. However, the concept should be easy. Its kinda like fireguard in the Army. One or two people take turns doing an hour a night, so that the entire group as a whole can be rested and relaxed.

So having one person on tracking duty is not the equivalent of poop socking. An entire guild of 100 or so odd people can go about their lives without clicking track over and over for 95 hours a week or whatever you say we do.

So, in short: if you want to spend less time raiding and more time doing what you want do do, but still get 10x the pixels, then TMO is for you. If you want to sit on spawns for hours.... more power to you.

Or as a third option, you could go join chest and develop an unrivaled degree of bitterness in the process of casually playing a game.

If FE/IB is POOPSOCKING then TMO is poopsockiing. Both sides are retarded, just neither side can acknowledge that concept.
We don't stare at our character select screens. There's this thing called alts. Having one person sacrifice their time for the benefit of the entire guild is way more civilized than how the barbarians in other guilds do it.

So wait a minute. The majority of the server wishes it was on some sort of a rotation. Tmo says you need to earn your pixels. So when a couple of guilds bond together to do just that they get numerous threads made about them for their efforts?

sounds like Tmo is quality

They don't do things how we do things, so they are wrong. Duh. Honestly, the strategy works for them. Having 6+ "active" (theres definitely some AFKers mooching tracking time) players at a spawn will give them a huge advantage for that all important FTE tag. We naturally don't appreciate that!

or you could look at it as us wishing they would mimic how we do things.

I actually don't want fe/ib to burn out. Seriously!

Just put one guy tracking and a back up fte'er. Why the poop sock?

Your right chest, both TMO and Inglorious Entry poopsocked and most agree poopsocking IS bad. There is a HUGE difference between 10 people logged in for 96+ hours and 2 people logged in for 96+ hours. Math doesn't lie. I'm not posting to recruit, I'm hoping to discourage poopsocking because even 2 people poopsocking for 96+ hours is too many. Accept that you are not getting an edge by clearing vs room and sitting in his room for his entire duration. Just sit a tracker in LoS and move on.
