Nihi is not the Evil you make it out to be in fact it is the Resistance that is the problem. Azrael for MONTHS would Grief the shit out of anyone not guildied in the 44-52 range. Basically forcing those mid range players to level in secret, quit, or join the resistance through force. There is no alliance, Azrael is full of bad players, assholes, and griefers.

The mid lvl guild you speak of was FoH. At there prime 2 months ago they once had 25 memebers online at one time. Foh started to do the Hole as an every day guild thing. Then Azrael showed up and griefed the fuck out of them, corpse camped them and basically forced all there 52+ members to guild quit and join their ranks.

I know of 3 players who joined Azrael to get shit on by the guild. I even saw Basiah bitch at guildies in City of Mist saying to level with other members. Azrael has their own little clique's and your not getting in. I saw 3-4 players grniding great xp only to let the other players have scraps. No strength in that guild and they will be going no where. They had a good 2 week run when Hersey disbanded, some old Force logged back in and soaking up 3-5 of Foh's 50+ ranks. But then people saw through Agatha's bullshit and gave up.

Any smart player will see over time Nihi is the greater of the 2 guilds, most of Azrael would join Nihi in an instant if a guild invite was thrown there way but they are hated amongst the top tier players with good reason. So they are stuck at a dead end job/guild. Miserable of there /played and treat other guildies with hope like complete shit.

Azreal is so hard up that anytime a member gets a killing blow on a Nihi all of /ooc lights up with spam PRAS. But its only their guild spamming ooc no one else. Ive only been on this server for 3 months and I believed all this bullshit then through time I saw Nihi is not the Evil you speak of but your own resistance.

Tomato King you are a shitty mage, you are not getting in Nihi and you have no option but to trick new players to believe your filth.

Ps ive seen Lite doing some power lvling of new players 1-40 and when they are left on there own accord they are scum.

Ive been in FOH on several chars, if there was 1 person to lead red99 to glory would be chew, but people join foh then leave as soon as they get higher level. Sucks but its the truth

exp is slow, if people make a tigher knit small group that nets more exp they are going to do it, But having friends in zone to defend against pvp is the purpose of a guild. This wont change.

I tried creating an "intro" guild for r99, only got like 3 people interested in it though. I figured people would be more for it with the closing of EQMac/Classic figured if we had some sort of intro guild to help people, they may be more inclined to join R99. Apparently not.

Nihilum has stated and shown time and time again, that anyone, ANYONE can join , regardless of how bad your rep is, what you have done, who you trained. What hacks you used, exploits you name it.

I am relatively new to this box. But my background in "video game pixels" extends over a decade. I started here close to 90 days ago so ive been past the "probationary" period. My friends list was exceeding 66 players. With an average of 28 online at any given time.

Once my regular crew hit 45-52.... things just got.. tough. We were constantly griefed in solb/com. I had a hardcore static group of friends healers/tanks/dps, not just druids/wizards. But a real pve pixel group. Almost all of them quit at 52-54. Griefed off the box and went back to where they belong.

I quit my main, and started the lowbie grind again. As I level I see pretty much the fate that I did not see the first time around. Another new stream of blood, fresh new players some re rolls, some twinks, but the same exact grind. All these players will hit City of Mist, Solb and that breaking point of 52 will crush a lot of souls.

I may this time just stop in a good lvl range, and pvp not grief but pvp and just chill... game is a huge changer once you are in range to those 55-57-60's. Ive never seen so many 55+ druid gankers in my life. Then again its not hard, neither is everquest its all just a matter of how long you can sit on your ass...

I think teams would put everyone on the same playing field with a fresh start and an idea of how it could go all wrong. If history repeats itself on teams then so be it... its bound to happen it does repeat itself. Then we can all walk away and get this gross addiction over with. Except on teams you know what team your on.. here its more of a constant paranoia of whos gonna guild hop, whos gonna pk you, who is your ally today is your enemy tomorrow.

I kinda agree. It sucks, but if they say that you'll probably get ganked in, you don't go to that zone. Same reason you don't go into the bad part of town.
