I grew up on James Bond and Arnold movies as far as action is concerned. I prefer sci-fi for films mostly. War movies are really hit or miss with me, I hate westerns.
Honestly, you should really watch a few good westerns and get back to me on that. The pacing on most of them is deliberate. They can be absolutely fascinating. Ain't no doubt that they will never make a comeback in the current movie climate, and would be too expensive to do correctly on TV and keep it a period piece.

Hell Breaking Bad had taken a ton of themes from westerns and blended it in.

If you can watch a hundred thousand hours of silly high school otaku bullshit, You can invest some time learning something about movie and characterization.

This thread is now again about the original topic, which is that gyno shouldn't use words to which he does not know the meaning.

Except that I hate westerns regardless. The only one that I had ever enjoyed was Tombstone and that was probably just because of Kurt Russell. I like any movie that he stars in. I'm pretty sure it's something about the setting that I dislike as the closest thing to a western I've enjoyed recently was Django Unchained (yes I realize that it's not a western but it's the same time period etc.. Keyword 'closest')

Highschool slice of life is a fraction of 1% of what otaku culture has to offer. [You must be logged in to view images. Log in or Register.]

Learning about film is boring, I partook in a bit of it in the past, they ended up forcing me to watch Manos, The Hands of Fate. Never again.

You liked him better than Val Kilmer in that movie?

I like to think of BB as a modern day western, the drug trade sort of like the lawless wild west. I like the following lines from the show-
"Just because you shot Jesse James don't make you Jesse James."
"I've always thought of myself more of a Doc Holliday."

Walt's character is pretty similar to Doc with the TB/Lung cancer thing.
