i generally don't answer petitions on twitch (unless the player doesnt care about privacy and if it can be done quickly without combing through logs), for 2 main reasons. firstly, i believe that player-staff interaction should be kept private (unless the player decides to make it public), and secondly i dont sit down to stream until i have done the in game petitions and a chunk of forum petitions. i'm not a machine, so if i decide to take a few hours a week to have some fun, thats exactly what i will do.

if we just added teams to red99, sure. but lets do math together. right now server sees about 160 people, which (assuming you are nihilum or anti-nihilum) leaves you with roughly 80 pvp targets. if teams brings in 400-500 people, and if r99 did merge into it, with two teams you'd have 200-250 targets, and with 3 teams youd have 130-165 targets.

Teams must be given bare minimum 2 years before merge. Otherwise it's no different than a wipe. Let the community vote with donations... make a paypal address for donations specifically for teams/no merge and as long as donations roll in sufficient to operate a third server, merge doesn't happen. It won't cut the community in half... nobody will log into the current PvP server except on no variance raid day. It will be a ghost town. Rogean stated during our GM Roundtable Discussion that we have no plan or desire to run 3 servers long term. however, its nothing close to a wipe. with a wipe, players lose their pixels and time spent on the server. With a merge, players lose nothing (pretty huge difference).

Agree with you Sirken, read my Rexx thread - FFA makes things toxic and unfun - I was on an alt and asked the only person in the zone what he was up to and the reply was "Why so you can see if I'm an easy kill" bring on the teams pal, so things can be fun for casuals.
