You make a good point here. I would like to expand on it by saying the same can be true for almost any professor at any college. People should never just swallow and believe everything they're told just because they "learned it at school". Always do your own research. History has a lot to offer on many subjects if people take the time to look it up.

You've committed a logical fallacy. You haven't corrected anything. You attempted to say that these countries who have universal healthcare also happen to be some of the happiest countries in the world so because they have universal healthcare that's what's making them happy.

If that was the case then all countries with universal healthcare would be at the top but that's just not the case. I used your same line of logic against you to disprove your argument for healthcare and happiness. If that's not what you were trying to say then why did you link those two sites?

there's no fallacy here, we have results that show a strong correlation (remember, kids: Correlation does not imply causation)

you found one extreme where an example of an oppressive government that also has socialized health care, and since they're oppressive, the people aren't as happy.
