it's more a combination of them being 70% of the server, their players generally having more free time, and them treating the game like it's a job (i.e. things like buying up 55 mages for CoTH bots come Velious 5 months in advance, being grouped with porters/ fully buffed for raid content within 5-7 minutes of logging in, etc etc.)

tl;dr they have decisiveness, strong coordination/ efficiency (something you can't blame them for).

what you can blame them for is by doing so they make, ultimately, a predictable server with a predictable future -- they will always be 70% of the server because 70% of players want the best loot, and that sentiment will always outweigh the desire to be an underdog and topple the big guys. basically another blue server, and people in that guild seem to enjoy it. be nice if it changed, though.

Well said, with 1 little added point to this. When Velious comes out, once the gear gap closes between members of nilly in full tunare/ntov/sleeprs loot vs players in 80% kunark, plane of fear/hate armor. The server will be just nilly, and well people will get bored and quit. Nilly will basically kill itself due to boredem. Then red99 will die, blue99 will gain some members and get a little bigger.

I personally didn't want this merge to happen, but this isn't about me, if you can't see the big picture then you're delusional.

-train in VP
-make excuses
-cry for a wipe
-cry for variance that wouldn't change anything except bore a few nihilum off server
-trying to push back spawn timers to 4-5am

The 'opposition' will do anything but actually pvp for mobs. Could it be because so many of their bluebie players quit when forced to pvp? So very, very sad. If you don't want pvp, and want to see mobs pushed til Nihilum sleeps, why not just go to blue? You'll be safe there.

LOL soooo were going to pretend that a horde of traks teeth aren't blown everytime there's a large scale fight with Nihilium.

And were also gonna pretend that this is evenly balanced pvp where one guild doesn't have more numbers, more help from the powers that be, more cheats being used, and there also the only ones with VP gear lol.

Any other server in the world and people would consider the gear difference and applaud the opposition, but here we play pretend.

talking about crying is hysterical coming from you considering you were the biggest crybaby in nihilum back when you guys were losing almost every mass pvp fight

What we saw when we actually pvp'd for mobs
-We were outgeared and outleveled
-Each Nihilum would plug 2, 3, or 4 level 60's fully buffed into the zone line being contested.
-Every Nihilum has a soulfire and trak tooth
-If we win, someone throws the light switch, nerfs charm animal, or bans the opposing guild for using the same strats used by Nihilum for months. Signing bonuses start getting offered on Craigslist.
