As someone who is a sperglord IRL, I'd have to say anime. I don't into anime myself, though. My area of exspergtise is gaming.

I play magic fairly often with pals, have never been to a tourney though, im not that serious about it.

i invented the black/red/green zerg deck .. 4 lord of the pit, 4 shivan dragons, 4 forces of nature, 3 moxes R/G/Bla, black lotus, 9 1 or 2 cost creatures (3each), and 15 lands (5 each)

never lost with that deck

Fun, but your success was mostly due to a weak metagame. Your mana curve is awful and you have no way at all to deal with a control deck or a combo deck. Props for playing with all those fatties.

40 card deck is different, and you have to account for the artifacts

Alawen, at first I was confused by your comment about you enjoying the parts about magic players that piss me off, however you've since made it clear that you're another one of those players that can only enjoy the game by winning. Only focused on the "best play" and not having fun by actually playing the game.

Magic is more than tournaments. Magic is more than winning individual games. Magic is more than finding the shortest route to victory.
Magic as a community in general might not be, but as a game it certainly is.

There's a reason I switched almost exclusively to playing Commander (EDH) where every game results in multiple ridiculous board states with at least one interaction that you've never encountered before.
